Shooting timelapse of the sunrise at the top of Mt. Haleakala was pretty awesome. Being part of a new documentary featuring the trials and tribulations of big wave surfer Ahanu Tsondru is an honor beyond compare. Ahanu (seen in the video) suffered a traumatic brain injury on a huge wipeout at Jaws and experienced amnesia, loss of balance, and nausea for years before being properly diagnosed.

The DRIVERS are Maui’s premiere event band
by MantisProductions • • 0 Comments
The Drivers rocked the after hours promo shoot with about 20 top 40 songs belted out like they made them up. This is a super cool group of Maui musicians who play mainly cover songs at Weddings, Parties, Birthdays, Corporate Events, etc… I loved this shoot because I got to use some of my favorite lenses, a bunch of stage lights, and even brought out the jib arm.
